How to Save Your Game in R.E.P.O.
One of the most frustrating experiences for gamers is loading a game only to find that their progress hasn't been saved. This issue is particularly common with new games that may not have clear instructions on saving or that lack autosave features. In *R.E.P.O.*, it's essential to know that the game only autosaves upon completing a level.
There is no option for manual saving in *R.E.P.O.*. If you quit during a retrieval mission or if you die and are sent to the Disposal Arena, your progress will not be saved. In such cases, you'll have to restart the level from the beginning. Upon death in *R.E.P.O.*, your save file is deleted, and exiting mid-level requires you to start over from the start of that level.
To save your game, you must successfully finish a level or location. After collecting your valuables, proceed to the Extraction Point, enter the truck, and press the message button above your head to signal the AI boss, the Taxman, that it's time to head to the Service Station. At the Service Station, you can shop and prepare for your next mission. Once ready, use the same button to move to the next level.
After leaving the Service Station, you'll reach your next location. At this point, it's safe to exit to the main menu or quit the game. When you or the host (if playing in a multiplayer setting) next opens *R.E.P.O.*, your progress will be intact. Remember, if you're playing with a host, they must exit the game correctly to ensure the save is preserved, and all other players will be disconnected upon the host's exit.
